RoseAnna Cyr

RoseAnna is the founder and keeper of Hopewell Studio.

A native of Derby, Vermont, RoseAnna got her start in clay at Mudflat Studios in Somerville, MA, after receiving the gift of a pottery class from her mother following the completion of her Masters in Music Therapy and Mental Health Counseling in 2009.

RoseAnna, a musician, singer, and lifelong artist, truly found her creative voice through clay, and continued working at the Midwest Clay Project after a move to Madison WI in 2013.

After personal tragedy forced a move back home in 2017, RoseAnna worked briefly at Muddy Waters Studio in Newport VT, but soon found herself without a space to make and create with stoneware.  When her fortune shifted in 2021, via an unexpected gift, RoseAnna committed to reclaiming herself and her art by building Hopewell Studio.

RoseAnna is a mother, counselor, community organizer, artist and gardener now living in Derby Line VT.  She creates functional and sculptural stoneware art inspired by and celebrating the lines, colors, and images of the natural world.
